Onboard Reefjet, snorkelling is a major activity. Our experienced crew are on hand to brief and explain water conditions and current flows as well as to point out various marine life and coral formations.

Snorkelling on board Reefjet is done in a open environment, you are free to snorkel wherever you like without the confines of roped off areas. Our expert snorkel team will do a snorkel plan best suited to your experience.

Floatation devices such as snorkel vests and high density metre long noodles are available for your comfort and assistance.

Of course, your safety and enjoyment is our priority. A full-time deck watch (lifeguard) is on duty to ensure your day is an enjoyable one. A snorkelling safety brief is conducted on our journey to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.

On board Reefjet, our friendly snorkel and dive instructors are experienced in introducing the fun and excitement of snorkelling for the very first time to our guests. We devote the time to ensure you feel comfortable and safe in the water. We also have a range of floatation devices to ensure your day is safe and enjoyable and we give special attention to those who feel the need for extra tuition.

It's important to us that your day on the Outer Great Barrier Reef is a most enjoyable and memorable snorkelling experience. Your personal safety is also paramount.

Snorkelling tuition on the correct use of fins (flippers) and mask (goggles) as well as the snorkel is conducted on our journey to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. All tuition and recommendations are done in accordance with the PADI snorkelling standards worldwide.

** All divers must complete a medical questionnaire onboard. A history of certain medical conditions may preclude some diving and snorkelling activities.

All Certified Divers must produce a current Dive Certification.
